About Me…The Author

Hi! I’m Melissa. My wife and I have 3 beautiful children. Our oldest is Nathan, our middle is Noah and our youngest is our daughter Quinn.

We aren’t perfect by any means but I love our little family and writing about our journey.

Les is a pretty amazing woman. I feel so lucky to call her my best friend and my wife. We started dating in 2007 and were officially married in Provincetown, MA in August 2011. Les, being the beautiful insanely smart over achieving wife decided late in life that she was going to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. She graduated from medical school May 2017 and is currently a resident physician in the suburbs of Detroit. To say I’m proud of her and all she’s accomplished would be a huge understatement.

The beginning of this blog was all about our journey of trying to conceive with so many funny stories that were too good not to write about…now we are moving into parenthood together and trying to parent 3 kids. We both knew life together would be somewhat of a roller-coaster but had no idea how crazy it would be. Life has thrown our family some curve balls but we’re getting through it all together. Our oldest was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in December 2017. Our middle son Noah has autism.

  1. I love reading your story. My lover and I are going through the same thing. We’ve been TTC for 4 months now. I guess I need to keep my legs up longer. We’ve been going to our donors house, we’re friends, and doing the insemination. I hope this is the month. For the last 2 months we’ve hit the days right on but still nothing.
